The short version: play fair, one accusation per case, Pro renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
01 · The service
Crimefloor is an online mystery game. A new fictional case is published every week. You explore the evidence, make one accusation and get a verdict you can share. One case is always free. Every other case and extra hints are part of Pro. By using Crimefloor you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
02 · Accounts
You can play as a guest. A guest record lives in your browser's session cookie, so clearing cookies or switching devices loses it. Create a free account to keep your progress and to buy Pro; your guest progress moves across.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person per account. Do not share Pro accounts.
- You must be at least 13, and in India under 18 only with a parent's or guardian's consent (see the privacy policy).
- You can delete your account any time on the account page.
03 · One accusation per case
Each account gets exactly one accusation per case: a suspect, a motive and two pieces of evidence. Once you accuse, the verdict is final and cannot be changed, retried or reset, including by support. The clock starts when you press Begin. Scores follow the rules shown in the game; we may fix a scoring bug, and that can change a score.
04 · Pro subscription
- Pro opens the case archive and gives you 3 hints per case instead of 1.
- Or buy a single case for US$2.99 (₹99 in India): one payment, no subscription, and that case stays open on your account.
- Prices are shown in your local currency where available: ₹999 a year or ₹149 a month in India, US$34.99 a year or US$4.99 a month elsewhere. Where rupee prices are not available, India sees and pays the US dollar prices. The region comes from the country our host sees for your connection. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, including any tax shown there.
- Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Cancel any time from your account page (Account, then Cancel subscription), or from the link in any Paddle receipt. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew.
- We may change prices for future periods. We tell you before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
Refunds follow the refund policy.
05 · Fair use
Play fair and do not spoil it for others. Do not:
- scrape, copy or republish the cases, or try to pull solutions out of our servers or APIs;
- make accounts in bulk, automate play, or get around rate limits or the paywall;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or interfere with other players;
- use Crimefloor for anything unlawful.
Talking about a case with friends is fine. Posting full solutions of the current week's case is not in the spirit of the game. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and refund any unused Pro period when we do.
06 · Original content and IP
The cases as written, their evidence, art and code, and the Crimefloor name belong to Crimefloor. Some cases adapt public-domain stories, which stay in the public domain. All people, places and events in the cases are fictional; any resemblance to real people is a coincidence. You get a personal, non-commercial right to play. You may share your verdict cards and links freely. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the game without owing you anything.
07 · Disclaimers
Crimefloor is a game provided as is. We work to keep it running but do not promise it will always be available, error free or that every case will suit you. Cases contain fictional crime, including murder, and are meant for a general adult and teen audience. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
08 · Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell signed-in players about important changes. You can stop using Crimefloor and delete your account at any time. If we ever shut Crimefloor down, we will give notice and refund the unused part of any Pro subscription.
09 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
