Legal · Refunds

Last updated 31 October 2026

A simple, fair rule.

01 · The rule

Full refund within 14 days of your first Pro payment, or of buying a single case. No questions asked, whether or not you have played.

  • The 14 days count from the date on your receipt: your first ever Pro payment (monthly or yearly), or the single case purchase.
  • Renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel any time so the next one never happens. Where the law gives you a window on a renewal (for example a UK yearly renewal), that window applies.
  • A full refund ends Pro straight away, or locks the single case again. Refunding a double charge does not.
  • A chargeback (disputing the payment with your bank) ends Pro, or locks the case, the same way.
  • Repeated buy-and-refund of the same thing may be refused, as Paddle's own buyer terms allow.

02 · Cancelling

Cancel any time from your account page (Cancel subscription), or from the link in any receipt from Paddle. Pro stays on until the end of the month or year you paid for, then stops. Nothing more is charged.

03 · How to ask

Email hello@crimefloor.com from the address on your account and say you want a refund, or ask Paddle directly at paddle.net (or through the link in your receipt). Paddle is our merchant of record: it sold you the purchase, so it issues every refund, back to the original payment method (card, UPI or PayPal), usually within 5 to 10 business days of approval depending on your bank.

04 · Always refunded

  • Double charges or charges you did not authorise.
  • Pro that did not work because of a fault on our side that we could not fix.
  • The unused part of a subscription if we suspend your account without you breaking the terms, or shut Crimefloor down.

05 · Who sold it

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and the seller to you: Paddle sells the purchase, takes the payment, handles tax and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to the sale. The site is run as Crimefloor, an independent project by github.com/satvikpathak.

06 · Your legal rights

This policy adds to your rights as a consumer and to Paddle's refund policy, and does not replace either. Where the law or Paddle gives you a right to cancel or a refund, that right applies. See the terms for the rest of the Pro rules.
